First results of this semester

Thu Mar 12, 2009, 4:15 PM
Woooow, these days suck. =.= No good, no good. Here are the results of me not working and still having loads of loads of stress during winter semester:

"Geography matters" (from last semester...): *still waiting*
Regional geography (from last semester...): 80% plus 85% plus *have not written that stupid after-essay-thing yet*

Japanese MI text analysis: 1,3
Japanese MI essays and conversation: 1,7
classical Japanese: *I was absent*
Japanese MI morphology: fail
Japanese MI practice: 4,0
Japanese linguistics: 2,0

Geomatics (statistics and cartographics for geographers): *still waiting*

For those who don't know german credits: 1=very good, 2=good, 3=allright, 4=still ok, 5=too few, 6=not enough
You have to reach at least 4,0 to pass, which is 60% of all points in a test.

I am d e a d. This was horror, because I haven't studied anything during the whole semester this time. I started a day before the first 2 japanese tests, and it worked. Then I was empty and slept over the next test on purpose. The following 5 days I had time, but I didn't study anything because it was too much. I had no hope left. Linguistics was ok, and I am glad that it went as well as this 2,0. Then I had a talk with my lecturer about what to do, because all the MI-tests have to be passed. Otherwise I cannot continue next semester and will have to wait one year. Means: 1000€ university fee and 1 year of time and whatnot. -.- I was at the point where I felt ok with that; it meant a break after all. She agreed and we talked about possible professions for me after university. Journalism or translation was my plan, I like writing and reading, that's all I know. THEN I went online to check my credits, and :wow::faint::bounce::shakefist::faint:: I passed the practice with 4,0. Don't ask me how. It is a difficult subject, a difficult language, and a load of work, and I did it with out studying anything. So now I can continue.
I also have to pass Geomatics in order to eventually finish my second subject "geography" this summer. I don't know about the results yet, but my energies where low... I studied, but it was hard to concentrate, really hard. I felt so tired. It is all crappy. Did I mention already that it is crappy? Crappy it is, all of it. Crap.
I don't want to think about this stupid after-essay I still have to write about those Alps. Yes, those Alps of which you have those many beautiful photos here, it's not finished. Professor wants another work, wants me to crap up myself and mess up those wonderful 80 and 85% I have reached alredy by boredly producing another paper about the s a m e t o p i c a g a i n. Crap.
Is anybody still wondering why I cannot like my subjects again? Gheeee!
I need a holiday. Hopefully I will get one, because a superfantastic and wonderfully nice person asked me spontaneously to come with her on family holiday to France for one week. I have time. Now they have to get the big house there to be able to take me with them. That is so generous and nice, I was so glad! I love her for that! She just spotted what I need and long for.

I did some new art: a few water colour stuff and some photos of my university. My cousin visited me last weekend and we took a walk through this concrete bunker and the botanic garden below. I will upload those photos which went well.
I will finally read Harry Potter 7, to be able to r e a l l y slag it with my friends. :D
My friend has a comic called ... I think it's "Elfquest" in original, by Richard and Wendy Pini. It's quite old, but sooo cute! And it has 20 books! *_*

I've bought myself a second hand guitar for 15€! *_* I have been secretly dreaming about being able to play guitar. Now I could afford it. My uncle will lent me a book to study it and a friend of a friend will teach me.
I went to "Lord of the Rings in concert", an orchestra from Czech Republic playing the original soundtrack live in Dortmund. Live is great! v^^v *sniff* *touched*

You see, days are good these days, but still my feelings are on their way to recovering. It starts to fill the ground of the hole. There is still much more recovering needed.

sorry dass ich nur auf englisch schreib aber ich bin zu müde^^° Wer umbedingt deutsch will sag bescheid. Vielleicht übersetz ichs dann. Vieleicht auch nicht.^^
